How Clear is Your Aura? (And Why it Matters)
Especially in busy times, we have a tendency to start neglecting our self-care, and one of the first things to go for a lot of us is taking care of our auric field. For others, they may not even know about aura care, and/or why it's so important for their overall health.
So why is it so important?
Our auras are our first line of defense against lower, harmful energy and pathogens, like stress, negativity, other people's feelings and/or intentions, as well as environmental pollutants and psychic attack. It's also what helps us to preserve and support all 4 levels of our health: Physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. When our auras are weak, we're more likely to get sick, when they're covered in debris (think energetic static & fluff bunnies) we feel fatigued, irritable, and foggy, our intuition feels blocked or inaccurate, and when our aura's damaged, we're more likely to take on dark energy or matter that can adversely affect us.
Fortunately, there are some quick, practical, and effective things you can do daily to take care of your aura and keep it strong. Here's a list of a few:
- Clear your Aura of Debris: You can pass a selenite stick (pictured above), sacred smoke (like sage, copal, or palo santo) or a tuning fork down all 4 sides of the body & under the feet; use natural baking soda or salt as a scrub in the shower, go for a swim in the ocean or take a salt bath. You can do this daily if you have the time/resources, or at least 2-3 times weekly to keep your aura clear.
- Strengthen your Aura: Ways to strengthen your aura include a daily meditation practice (add in holding infinite, spirit quartz, smokey quartz, rainbow obsidian, or tourmalined quartz to enhance the effect); regular exercise; grounding techniques or 'earthing'; eating healthy and sustainably; prayer; spritzing crystal aura sprays or rose hydrasol over your body; anointing pressure points with angelica, yarrow, or cedar essential oil.
These practices become beneficial when they're done consistently and with intention. Choose one way of clearing, one way of strengthening, put it into your daily routine, and enjoy greater aura health!
