Make Your Own Kick A** Crystal Aura Spray
I admit that while I was doing my spiritual healing work in NYC I had a pretty involved energy clearing and shielding routine. It would begin in the morning with prayers and cloaking exercises, followed by a grounding meditation, and then a layer of protective crystals on top.
And then in the evenings I’d smudge myself, do a cord-clearing with a selenite stick, and then possibly a salt bath or scrub in the shower before bed. It was sometimes exhausting, but well worth it to keep my vibration high, my intuition sharp, and my immune system strong.
When I moved out of the city and close to the countryside, I eased off on some of those daily protocols. I also got busier with writing my book, transitioning my business online, and expanding the reach and scope of my work to worldwide. It didn’t take me long to realize that, although I was out of a large urban center and not doing hands-on-healing work anymore, I was still a big magnet for psychic attack, low vibration energy, spirit attachments and general psychic debris.
While I didn’t need to get back into the whole NYC routine, I did need to tighten things up and create a daily energy clearing & shielding routine that was easy to sustain and effective in its results.
As it happens with a lot of my work, I came up with this great energy clearing & shielding spray formula when I was actually attempting to create something else (a natural mosquito repellent, which by the way works very well, too, if you add citronella oil!).
After I first used it as a mosquito repellent, I noticed that I felt dramatically lighter, more upbeat, and had more energy. I realized pretty quickly that it was because of the energetic impact of the plant oils that I had used in the spray, which all had purifying and protective qualities. I then added in two crystals in a subsequent batch to help fortify and energize the qualities and intentions of the spray.
The reason this spray is so kick a** is because the oils in it are from herbs that have traditionally been used as powerful banishing, purifying, and exorcising ingredients in magical and spiritual formulas, practices, and rituals for centuries:
Eucalyptus: wards off evil
Clove: banishing, repelling, and exorcism
Lemon: purification
Rosemary: exorcism, protection, purification
Cedar: purification, protection
Smoky quartz: purification, grounding, protection
Amethyst: warding, protection, and release of negativity
I’ve noticed that there are a lot of aura sprays on the market, some of them work and some of them don’t. But either way they can be pricey, and if you’re like me, you’ll need to restock regularly so it adds up.
This is quick and easy to make, has awesome results, and gives you an opportunity to be a little witchy in your kitchen. Win, win, win!
Supplies:
1/2 cup witch hazel
1/2 cup distilled water
10 drops eucalyptus oil
10 drops clove oil
5 drops lemon oil
10 drops rosemary oil
5 drops cedar wood oil
1 piece each of smoky quartz and amethyst (cleared & charged)
small spray bottle
8oz measuring cup
Instructions:
Pour the distilled water into the measuring cup, and then fill it the rest of the way with the witch hazel.
Mix in the essential oil drops (make sure you’re using real plant-based oils, not fragrance oils).
Put the crystals into your spray bottle, pour in the mixture, and give it a gentle shake before using. Each time you make a new batch, be sure to clear and re-charge your crystals.
These are some potent herbs, so if you find that your skin is too sensitive for them, you can substitute lavender for the eucalyptus and nutmeg for the clove.
I recommend spraying it around you, over your head, and under your feet when you get up in the morning, and before you go to bed at night. It has an earthy, spicy scent to it, but if that interferes with your Chanel #5, then just use it at night before you go to sleep.
You can also skip all the ingredients except for the oils, and make a diffuser blend to clear the energy of a space.
