A Simple Full Moon Crystal Ritual
Full moon's are always magical! They're a time when both magnetic and repellent energies are at their most potent, so it's an excellent time to work both manifestation and banishing magic.
It's also an excellent time to do divination and psychic work, using the full moon's energy to open up and strengthen your gifts.
Quartz crystals have the ability to magnify, amplify, and direct the energy of your intention, and are the perfect choice for divination work. Quartz is a crystal of purity, power, and clarity, and it sharpens our psychic abilities.
The Simple Ritual
You will need:
A piece of clear quartz that has been cleared and charged, a notebook and pen or a recorder, and a list of questions for divine guidance.
Timing:
The night before and the night during the full moon.
Instructions:
Place your quartz outside under moonlight (or on an open windowsill) the night before the full moon. Leave it there for a few hours or overnight, just be sure to remove it before it's exposed to sunlight.
On the night of the full moon, go out under the moonlight with your quartz, questions and notebook. Sit comfortably, hold your quartz in your receptive (non-dominant) hand, and set an intention to receive soul level guidance that is for your highest good, path or purpose ONLY.
Ask your questions. Allow the answers to 'float up' or 'drop in', as opposed to trying to ‘think’ them, and then write them down.
Once you feel complete, thank divine guidance, thank the moon and your quartz, and go back inside to contemplate or meditate on your responses.
Note for urban dwellers: You can do this on a porch, balcony, rooftop or fire escape, or in front of an open window if needs be!
