Your Crystal Eclipse Survival Kit

We have a partial solar eclipse happening on Saturday April 30th at 18:45 UTC, and I’ve been feeling the churning this past week.

Shadow aspects, unhappy memories, frustrations, and discontents – it’s very like the eclipse to bring these things to the surface.

To unveil what is unseen.

The hidden forces of our nature tend to answer to the hidden forces of the Universe with a roar, or sometimes a whimper.

The whimpers in many ways can be worse.

But it’s all power if we learn how to transmute the energies for our highest good.

The fierce ride these times like a wave: “Let it be seen! Let it be heard! I will face it!!”

They know that it’s always in the dark places that we find the buried treasure.

It’s in the dark places that we find our buried treasure.

The great mystics of the ages were impervious to the darkness because they’d fully yielded their own to the light.

They show us that when we’ve faced it all there’s nothing left to fear.

I recently wrote of black obsidian, finishing by saying that “it teaches us that if we can survive ourselves, we can survive anything.”

This quote resonated deeply for so many people because it’s a reflection of our lived experience, and to my mind the spiritual path in general.

Many are surprised to find that by becoming more awake and aware, that by choosing to heal, the path seems to get harder, not easier.

I’m often asked why, and my reply is: “It’s because you’ve raised the stakes. Sleepwalking through life does seem easier but it’s far less fulfilling. You’ve now climbed on the real ride.”

Eclipses Intensify Our Healing Experience

Eclipses intensify this experience, personalize it. They draw to your attention what you need to see, heal, resolve, release, in order to move forward on your path with greater mastery.

If you resist this process it epically sucks – you go through suffering for no reason! So it’s best to face it like the fierce.

The exciting thing to remember, the opportunity to claim, is that on the other side of this is the treasure.

More power, more wholeness, more light, more freedom.

You can only get better from engaging in your healing process.

Crystal Meditation for Eclipse Season

First, we meditate.

We breathe.

We hold our stones and focus on hearing our truth.

This part can be the scariest because a lot of people fear what their truth may have to say, but here’s the thing: it only keeps you tethered to suffering to not hear.

All you need to do is listen, no decisions need to be made at this point.

Medicine Stones:

Black Obsidian

Amazonite

A natural piece of black tourmaline

Black tourmaline

a trio of covellite tumbled crystals

I recommend holding the following:

Hold one of the above in your receptive hand (you can place rose quartz over the heart or in your dominant hand for added support), close your eyes, and gently deepen your breathing.

Set the intention to hear your truth, to unveil what needs to be seen, then allow yourself to sink into a meditative state.

Give it 10 - 20 minutes, trust what resonates.

Crystal Therapy for Spiritual Support During Eclipse Season

A lot can come up during these times, and along with it a lot of emotional ups and downs, turmoil, uncertainty, anxiety, or fear.

Woah!

Here’s a simple crystal therapy session you can do at home to create space for the wisdom + guidance of your own soul and Spirit to enter.

Medicine Stones:

Rhodochrosite

Lapis lazuli

Black tourmaline

Selenite

Bloodstone

Octahedron (Sacred Geometry)

  • Rhodochrosite on the heart - for healing emotional wounding + releasing emotional baggage.

  • Lapis on the brow - for intuition + hearing Spirit.

  • Selenite (or satin spar) in the receptive hand - purity, serenity, expansiveness.

  • Black Tourmaline in the dominant hand - alignment, centering, neutrality.

  • Bloodstone at the root or sacral center - emotional stability, balance, resilience, and grounding.

  • Octahedron - imagine an octahedron expanding around you so that the top point is above your head, and the bottom point is below your feet. This helps draw your soul’s wisdom down into your experience and helps you if you’ve gone off path in your life.

Lie down and relax with these stone placements for 30 - 45 minutes.

Repeat as needed.

Crystal Ritual for Releasing What No Longer Serves

Here’s a crystal ritual you can do for yourself once if there are patterns, stories, wounds, or relationships you’re ready to let go or resolve from your life.

This helps to clear the energetic imprints from your energy field and timeline so that you can move on and manifest something new.

Final note: you don’t have to do it all!

Trust what you feel drawn to and practice that one thing, just be sure to do it during this eclipse season (from now til the lunar eclipse on May 16th) so that you can benefit fully from the energy.
